I recently had a right cataract… I recently had a right cataract extraction plus scleral fixated intraocular lens performed in August this year. The procedure was not without risk, but was clearly explained by Mr. Lash beforehand. The whole procedure went well, my sight is improving still and is now much better than it has been for many years. I am well pleased with the result, and would recommend Mr. Lash to anyone requiring eye surgery.

Retinal detachment macular off right… Retinal detachment macular off right eye (second detachment in 8 weeks). Stephen stepped in as my surgeon was on holiday. He saved the sight in my eye although my vision isn’t good but it was even worse before the operation. I was, and am, so grateful to him. Epiretinal membrane left eye. A great success although I shouted at him as I wasn’t aware he’d told me I might not be able to drive again but since May 2023 I’ve been driving. Thank you, Stephen, I shall be forever grateful to you. Also, a big shout out for Tanya for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Mr Lash is an expert in his field Stephen Lash recently conducted vitrectomy surgery and scleral haptic fixation in my right eye. Prior to surgery, my vision was pretty bad as the lens had opacified. All aspects of his work- from initial consultation to surgery and post operative care, are high standard. I was very nervous due to the complexity of my situation but now my sight is SO much better! I cannot praise him enough. His secretary, Tanya, is worthy of mention as her responses to my many questions have been speedy, informative and reassuring. Thank you to both.

I have received the highest standard … I have received the highest standard of care from Mr Lash and his team . Having had three operations this year , my anxiety and uncertainty that I could be fixed was mounting . However each time , Mr Lash has been reassuring , honest , exceptionally calm and highly professional . It clearly matters to him that he achieves for you the best sight he possibly can . I am immensely grateful to him for his skill and willingness to do the job he does !

Very good result with operation but had … Very good result with operation but had slight complication post op which was dealt with very well by Mr Lash.... he has said if it causes me a problem again he will do another small op but hopefully that will not be necessary.....very pleased with treatment...
