Wasted time....and money. Not quite sure it's worth it. After struggling with poor-fitting glasses that slide down my nose and irritate my ears for years, I thought it would be worth the investment to get a custom pair of glasses. I scheduled a Zoom appointment with an optician. They go over your measurements, recommend adjustments (like making the width narrower/wider, where they should sit on your face), and then price the frames and lenses out. To be completely honest - I almost fainted after they quoted me the price, but figured that it would be worth it, considering that a.) I wear them every day, and b.) not having to fuss with them a gazillion times a day. I asked if they were going to make a prototype or the glasses that I could try on/make adjustments to the fit prior to the actual glass being made, and, the optician was soooo sure - cocky, almost - that the company has gotten so good with this computerized virtual fitting that, the prototype was unnecessary, and assured that my glasses would fit perfectly. It took about 5 weeks or so for my glasses to be completed. I was super excited to receive them, but that excitement dissipated pretty quickly. Upon putting them on, the top of the frames were at the level of my pupils - in order to see out of them, they had to be pushed up my nose. After doing this, the glasses slid down my nose. They were super loose on the back of my ears. The nosepads - skinny and supremely uncomfortable on my wide, flat nose bridge. All of these things were issues I had experienced previously, with glasses that had cost much, much less than these. I thought that, with these custom glasses, all the misery of my previous glasses would be forgotten. I was wrong. These honestly fit worse than about 75% of the glasses I have purchased "off the shelf" at a retail store. So much for being perfect. I contacted them. It took a few days for them to get back to me. They sent me a video of how to bend the ear pieces back and in, to adjust my "custom", supposedly perfectly fitting glasses to my head and ears. If I am spending $700+ on a pair of custom glasses, I expect them to fit & perform as such. I adjusted them as shown in the videos, wore them for a couple more days, and they were still sliding down my nose despite being incredibly painful and irritating to the backs of my ears. I wrote in again. Had to wait. Asked to take photos. Sent them in. Few more days. Sent in more photos. Eventually, it was decided that they were going to make a new pair. Few weeks go by with no word. Write in again. Wait again. "Oh, we're talking with our design team. We'll let you know." This went on and on, and now we're seven weeks out from my initial contact re: my poor fitting frames, and, the new ones aren't even done yet. I've received absolutely no updates from them without having to reach out first. And their responses take absolutely forever. If they respond, that is. I'm completely and absolutely over the hype and hurrah of this "perfect" eyewear. In the meantime, I'm still dealing with a pair of glasses that fit terribly, am constantly adjusting, cause pain to my head and ears, and rub my nose raw. I'm underwhelmed.

Perfect for petite faces I have a petite face with a very petite nose. Except for one other eyeglass seller nobody makes glasses for someone like me. Wireframes up until recently were my only option and they always hurt, because they were never the right fit. Enter Topology--my very first acetate frames, and they fit perfectly. I've had two years worth of glasses from them, and it would have been three if not for the fact that I had to transition to progressives. They recommend your first progressives be from your doctor. Honestly, I wish I ignored it because the ones from my doctor sucked. From here on out I will only get my glasses from Topology.

Cheap lenses Cheap lenses. The clear vision area was tiny. Costco is better, and has a lower price. I went back to my old glasses.

Bad fit! Ok, i finally got my glasses after 7+ weeks but they fit horribly. Constantly sliding down my nose. I spent more than ever before, waited longer than ever before, and it fits worse than any other glasses before. I wont be using Topography again.

Tailor made glasses I would have given 5 star rating but due to the delay in shipment, I would give it a 4 star so that they can improve better. Overall, I am very satisfied with my eyeglasses. It was evident that the eyeglasses was customized for me as the fit were right. I was nervous before I tried it on because I was afraid it wouldnt fit but I was wrong. One of my fave eyeglasses I have ever worn for sure. My other minor complaint besides the shipment delay was the case that came with it. I’d rather prefer a simple box rather than a triangular “figure it on your own” kind of case. Again, I am very happy with my eyeglasses and I cant wait to order more in the future.
