This auctioneer Pasadena/Prime Bids is… This auctioneer Pasadena/Prime Bids on the HiBids site is a schyster. He often posts inaccurate auctions on HiBids. This time I bid on two auctions, one for a large Christmas bow, and 39lbs of epsom salt. The bow was much smaller than the description measurements both written and image. And, I got a winch in a box labeled epsom salt. I emailed the auctioneer and he told me that “I failed” to research the Amazon complaints for the bow- and that “I failed” to accurately discern what I was bidding on regarding the winch. Therefore no refund would be given for the bow at all. I was also told that I must drive 2 hours back and forth to return the broken winch to receive a $20 refund- and that I would not be receiving the epsom salt because that is not what I bid on, even though the title, written description and 5 pictures showed the epsom salt, only 2 depicted the winch. The winch was not in the title or in the written description.

I also had accidentally bid on an item, 100% mistake but still my fault, and the team was able to help me remedy the situation.

I really enjoyed this auction because when I bid this auction added 5 minutes. This really helps when bidding on multipule items at one time. I also really appreciate the auction house showing pics of the bottom of all pottery pieces. People who buy pottery sometimes can tell something, even if it is not marked.

First time using the auction site First time using the auction site so it took awhile to learn to navigate around. The auction went very smooth and I like the way pre bidding works in as when you bid a max bid you are the high bid until someone actually bids higher, unlike some sites where a second bidder bids the same as me and they automatically become high bid. Something that I didn’t like was when looking at a lot the only way to get back to the auction I was taken back to lot #1instead of where I left off. Anyway I hope to be able to use this site again,Thanks

Hibid is a great auction platform to bid and win Hibid is a great auction platform to bid on. You can actually call them if there is an issue and they do help if you need it. I have also had a few problems with a couple of shady auction companies on their platform but for the most part they are a great place to bid and buy. Just stay away from the shady auction co's on there. all platforms have them so do your research and bid accordingly.
