BEDisappointing Experience with Reproduction Gallery Order On September 5th, I placed an order with Reproduction Gallery, requesting them to transform an AI-generated image into an oil painting. I had specifically highlighted some imperfections in the AI-generated image that needed correction. Unfortunately, the painting took a full month to complete, and when I received the photos of the artwork, it was evident that the identified deficiencies had been overlooked and replicated by the artist. Subsequently, it took an additional 10 days for me to receive a response to my email where I had requested these adjustments. Despite my clear expression of dissatisfaction and a detailed list of required corrections in my last email, Reproduction Gallery unilaterally cancelled my order and issued a refund. They did not provide a reason for the cancellation, leaving me with the impression that they were not prioritizing customer satisfaction and the reputation of their company.

GBPainting vastly inferior to image on their website. The image they sent me was not even close to the image as posted on their website. I ordered Jackson Pollock's Landscape with Blue. What I got was vastly inferior in detail, background color from what was presented on the web site. If it were close I would not have complained. Unfortunately, it is a wedding gift and it is too close to the date to reorder. If this format allowed pics to be uploaded you could see for yourself what an amateur attempt at reproduction this was. UPDATE 10/12/22 : I have decided to return the work. I received an arrogant letter from the firm with return instructions. BUYER BEWARE : their works appear to be NOT reproductions but individual interpretations of what is presented on their websites and may be materially different from what is on the website. Mine certainly was. UPDATE 10/13/22 : No wonder they get so few returns- they ship from Thailand ! My cost to return from US was $150-200. At 50% the cost of the work. PLUS, they never offered me a photo of the finished work for my approval BEFORE shipping. UPDATE 11/5/22 : Here is Reproduction-Gallery's response to my complaint to the BBB : "Mr Trotman has without a doubt been the most unpleasant customer we have dealt with in 26 years. When he first placed his order he was extremely rude and abusive to our online staff who were trying to assist him with tracking his order. This customer sent a photograph of the painting in his possession. This photo did not resemble the colors of the painting which he received. We take photographs of every painting which leaves the Studio and this was sent to the customer to demonstrate that what he received was in fact what he ordered." Turn the tables on the customer ! Its all my fault ! Note that they accuse me of lying about the painting I received which I photographed and sent to them to show them how inferior it was. Plus, they never sent me any photo of the finished product either before or after shipment. 12/2/22 Ha ! Repro Gallery now claims that I have refused to pay for the work and have kept it : NOT TRUE ! I have kept the work and have instructed them to bill me...charge my credit card...they have the information. They apparently are refusing to do so , thus they can accuse me of unethical intentions. Very low indeed. Plus, I've written two reviews for Trust Pilot over the course of 4 years. they ask readers to look at me as if I am the epitome of negativity. they are quite foolish. where do they source their works ? Had I elected to return the work here is their address: 108/6 Moo 7, Soi Nernplubwan Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi, 20150 Thailand But you wont find this address on their website. Why ? Finally, so many outstanding reviews...but none of them are verified users as I AM ! hmmm...a little suspicious ??

GBLasting custom art for your space So far, my wife and I have purchased three large format oil on canvas reproduction from Reproduction Gallery over the last 5 years. We are already planning our fourth. Each has been a good experience with clear communication, reasonable pricing and excellent results. Strongly recommended.

GBAlex Hooper of Reproduction Gallery is a liar I was fully prepared to write a great review for this transaction, but their behavior, namely, Alex Hooper's, has not lived up to their 100% satisfaction guarantee. The artist who did my painting is quite obviously very talented. They keep you up-to-date through the entire process. They pack well. But there was some word written in the painting that they tried to conceal and when I, with photos, brought this to Alex's attention, I was told that each painting is inspected by them, and that after 20+ years, they have developed a keen eye and they "feel" that if there were any issues, they would have been recognized. Essentially I was called blind. When I asked for the images of the painting that they said they had, which they inspect before shipping and for the source material that was referred to that Alex told me about, I have since been ignored. Basically, they tried to sell me on the notion that what I was talking about was a part of the original. That is a lie. I've already been able to do a comparison on my own. Though located in Oregon, my painting came from Bankok, Thailand. In short I do not trust their lies and empty words and will never do business with them again. Also their reviews are obviously hand picked.
