Alex Hooper of Reproduction Gallery is a liar I was fully prepared to write a great review for this transaction, but their behavior, namely, Alex Hooper's, has not lived up to their 100% satisfaction guarantee. The artist who did my painting is quite obviously very talented. They keep you up-to-date through the entire process. They pack well. But there was some word written in the painting that they tried to conceal and when I, with photos, brought this to Alex's attention, I was told that each painting is inspected by them, and that after 20+ years, they have developed a keen eye and they "feel" that if there were any issues, they would have been recognized. Essentially I was called blind. When I asked for the images of the painting that they said they had, which they inspect before shipping and for the source material that was referred to that Alex told me about, I have since been ignored. Basically, they tried to sell me on the notion that what I was talking about was a part of the original. That is a lie. I've already been able to do a comparison on my own. Though located in Oregon, my painting came from Bankok, Thailand. In short I do not trust their lies and empty words and will never do business with them again. Also their reviews are obviously hand picked.

I was persuaded by her honesty and the lack of a heavy sales pitch. So I ordered three reproductions and four weeks later they arrived. My husband and I are absolutely delighted with the work. The quality of the work is superb, the attention to detail, the vibrancy of the oils, even the canvas used, everything is correct.
