USWow! Wow! I attempted to place an order with Ramble & Roam while preparing for a huge move with people coming and going and taking other meetings throughout the day. There were many things I needed to purchase, and I spent many free moments trying to locate the necessary items. There wasn't enough information given the description of the items I needed, so I contacted them via chat. They then had to reach out to the manufacturer. They responded a few days later. While trying to place my order, I accidentally closed a 10% off the window, so I went back to chat after several attempts to get the pop-up to return. I was very concise (but not rude) in the chat, as I had only minutes before I had to move on as people were waiting for me at this point. After about 10 minutes of going back and forth in the chat and then waiting, I said I only had about a minute before I had to move on, but I still heard nothing. I then essentially said it was too bad that we couldn't get this done and left the chat. I later figured out how to get the pop-up on my own and placed an order. I have now spent so much time on this. Time I didn't have. I received an email a few hours later saying this: "We are writing to inform you of a decision regarding your account with Ramble & Roam Co. following a review of recent activities associated with it. Upon examination, we have identified several concerns, including the provision of invalid contact information and interactions that do not align with our community standards. As a result, we have issued a refund for your most recent transaction and have taken the necessary step of flagging the account. Please be advised that due to these actions, we will no longer be able to accept future orders from this account. This measure is in keeping with our commitment to maintain a respectful, secure, and honest environment for our customers and our team. This decision is final and was made to uphold the integrity and values of our online community and marketplace." I'm sorry, was I supposed to sit and braid someone's hair and sing them a lullaby to place an order? And all of the contact information on the order was absolutely correct. As I wrote to them, perhaps upholding integrity and high values should include not jumping to "cancel" people so quickly in the world.
