If they wanted more activity on their site, they should've spent money on making it not janky and broken for once, instead of making a glorified plagiarism algorithm while stabbing the backs of their countless users.

same as everyone else (i'm quit) i am deviantart user for 5 years but only active for 3 years. why tho? same as everyone else (yes, i'm repeating the title), the site becoming unusable right after eclipse replaces the old design around 2020. additionally, i despised to AI-generated "arts". so i'm include the reason why i'm quitting from the website.

Not for professional/serious artists This website is a bad website for professional artists. There's no quality control, meaning that something bad will get more views than professional-level art. You'll get a lot of porn, fetish art, low effort 'art', spam and even art theft. The new layout (Eclipse) copies Artstation's layout, and there's no way to turn it off. The moderators are lazy and don't consider hiring more people. If you take art seriously, don't use DeviantArt. Try something like Artstation or Pixiv.

Nowadays it’s a complete joke compared to other art sites Yea… it’s only good for saving great and decent quality art that’s not problematic and toxic. Whether you block people and turn on the mature content filters, you’ll always get toxic content. No wonder some people stick to tumblr. I’m annoyed at the 100 tag block and 24 or 48 art per page limit unless you want to scroll down through hundreds if not thousands of content… Can’t change your username at all even though a lot of us users are ashamed or embarrassed of our old names…
