DEGreedy for money, useless membership, stupid ToS Greedy for money, removes pretty much all mature content. Has insanely stupid ToS regarding nudity and intercourse. Core membership is useless, and why would anyone buy one piece of art for $5? People still upload ripped content (especially real person photoshoots) Favorites can't be set to private, even if you remove the widget from your page people still can access it with the typical /favorites link

NLNot for professional/serious artists This website is a bad website for professional artists. There's no quality control, meaning that something bad will get more views than professional-level art. You'll get a lot of porn, fetish art, low effort 'art', spam and even art theft. The new layout (Eclipse) copies Artstation's layout, and there's no way to turn it off. The moderators are lazy and don't consider hiring more people. If you take art seriously, don't use DeviantArt. Try something like Artstation or Pixiv.

GBClogged up with AI rubbish Clogged up with AI rubbish, promotes selling such things for money. It has lost the fun charm it had when I was younger. The stash is useful and community events can be fun for prompts but that's about it.

CAnot good. WAS once a decent site, very dead now due to the atrocious new layout after being bought from another very trash site too. All the originality and creativity from the original site has been stripped away by a very basic and ugly, cluttered layout. Utterly horrid decision on their layout which was heavily criticized from the start. No more customization, way too cluttered, and all the art categories were removed. Very glitchy, too. Utter garbage.

GBdeviantart staff are very scummy corrupt people DA staff literally scam and steal people's money I was one of the victims they would steal your cards, private information, anything to make a dime then ban you, they love stealing your information and refuse to say anything, its utterly a scummy and illegal tactic they've been doing for years, and I'm surprised no one has filed a lawsuit against the site and company behind it.
