deviantart staff are very scummy corrupt people DA staff literally scam and steal people's money I was one of the victims they would steal your cards, private information, anything to make a dime then ban you, they love stealing your information and refuse to say anything, its utterly a scummy and illegal tactic they've been doing for years, and I'm surprised no one has filed a lawsuit against the site and company behind it.

The site just overall lost all originality and personality it had in the 2010's, where you could personalize your own page as an attempt to oversimplify everything and look like ArtStation. DeviantArt is no longer a good program… DeviantArt is no longer a good program for artists to share their creativity. Their policies allow pedophilia and gore content but yet they ban anyone who labels their artwork carefully for older audiences and can't tell the difference between Photoshop and fiction. The app is filled with double standards and the website is no longer a positive environment. Either change the name of the app or shut the whole thing down.

Greedy for money, useless membership, stupid ToS Greedy for money, removes pretty much all mature content. Has insanely stupid ToS regarding nudity and intercourse. Core membership is useless, and why would anyone buy one piece of art for $5? People still upload ripped content (especially real person photoshoots) Favorites can't be set to private, even if you remove the widget from your page people still can access it with the typical /favorites link

Nowadays it’s a complete joke compared to other art sites Yea… it’s only good for saving great and decent quality art that’s not problematic and toxic. Whether you block people and turn on the mature content filters, you’ll always get toxic content. No wonder some people stick to tumblr. I’m annoyed at the 100 tag block and 24 or 48 art per page limit unless you want to scroll down through hundreds if not thousands of content… Can’t change your username at all even though a lot of us users are ashamed or embarrassed of our old names…
