Helpful customer service Bought a pair of DC Banshee snowboard pants in anticipation of an upcoming trip. Day 1 of the trip and the seat gets two medium size rips and by day 3 there was a third rip. Needless to say, frustrating. Got home and called DogFunk and they quickly arranged for an exchange, no questions asked. All in all, a little disappointed with DC (the pants were good otherwise), but would definitely purchase from DogFunk again due to helpful customer service.

I received used gear! I recently purchased a $469 new burton board, when it came in, it had 2 huge gashes on it, the top was scuffed up and the bottom had obviously been ridden on since the wax was not "new". Looks like someone bought it and returned it since they have an unlimited return policy. When I contacted them they said it must have been an error on the return dept and it somehow ended up w/ the new inventory. Well they didn't have my board in stock anymore. They did deduct $200 from my purchase price, so I got a $469 board for $269, good deal, but when you are expecting a brand spanking new board in the mail, this was extremely frustrating. To top it off, it didn't come with the burton retro binding transition kit either. I had spoken with a customer service rep the day of the order to confirm this would be included, and he assured me it would. Well, it wasn't! So now as the season is winding down, so are my days on the slopes due to this unfortunate situation. I wonder how often used gear is passed off as new on this site. I mean since they have an unlimited return policy, you could essentially use a board for a season and return it once the season is over. But then what happens to the board? The company wouldn't be in business if it kept eating the costs of returned used gear. Wonder if it sells pants, jackets, gloves, etc without tags as new gear and how many people actually notice this. Don't get me wrong, I have ordered pants and there doesn't seem to be a problem with them. The customer service is awesome (I use livechat most), but come on guys...inspect the gear before you send it out! Even the sticker was reapplied because I could see it peeling off like it had been removed before! If you received an order of gear like this, you most certainly would not be happy. I'm kinda skeptical to buy gear from here again after this situation. Maybe you could setup a used gear section on the site, so customers could purchase things at a discounted price? Like when customers return apparel without tags, give a brief description of the items and that way the new customer knows they are purchasing "like new" "slightly used" gear and they aren't being mislead. Just a suggestion.

Did not deliver, poor communication Dog punk could not come thru. Not much to say other than after placing and order an waiting 7-10 days, all I received was a cancellation of my order. No explanation. Will not place another order with them.

Really? Totally crappy service. I received a box with no packing material and I spent $150 on a watch which was not in its original box and completely without users booklet or warranty info. When I complained, they ignored me. I would stay away.
