Refusing to cancel preorder Preordered a game that will not be released for another couple of months. I found that I could order the game locally for way lower cost. I live in Ireland so shipping and taxes make it cost more than double the price of ordering locally. I emailed explaining the situation, but as I ordered more than 14 days ago and despite the game not even being released for another couple of months they are refusing to cancel the preorder. I will not but from this website again and would encourage others to avoid also.

iam8bit engages in false advertising iam8bit engages in false advertising, has awful customer support and will ignore your help requests once they got your money. They offered a "christmas guarantee" if you pay for expedited shipping and placed your order by Dec 17th. I ordered an item and paid for expedited shipping on Dec 16th. I noticed that the order was unfulfilled on Dec 20th and placed a support ticket because i was concerned they were shipping it too late. Support said that my order is in queue and theyll get to it when they get to it and it could take 15 days to process, then referred me to their holiday shipping policy as if i was outside their policy parameters. Dec 23rd comes by and still unfulfilled. I put in another support ticket and got a canned response that theyll get to it when they get to it. According to their records, they printed a shipping label late on the 23rd but it didnt get into the post offices hands until after christmas. the item arrived Jan 4th, long after they collected extra money from me to get it by xmas. I put in a support ticket requesting my expedited shipping payment be refunded, to which they said they can not do that. and besides, they "can not be held responsible for USPS's delivery times." Despite the fact that they didnt get it to USPS until AFTER their guaranteed ship time. I took to twitter to ask for assistance there, since support was no help. they asked me for my case number but then stopped responding, then blocked me on twitter. they are no longer responding to the support ticket either. they collected money from people for a holiday guarantee service they did not provide. this is false advertising. do a search on twitter and reddit if you would like to see how they screwed over other customers.

questionable with abysmal customer support Tried to order the Disco Elysium CE. Shipping and taxes are outrageously high, which is not necessarily their fault, but then they also state that they send the package without tracking and if gets lost or damaged, you're not eligible for any kind of reimbursement. You can choose to pay 7$ extra for tracking and insurance, but that not being baseline for international shipping is extremely customer-unfriendly. Especially regarding the overpriced items they are selling. Tried to order it, got the order confirmation. Immediately after I got an email that the order was cancelled. Reached out to their customer support, they reply the cancellation is from their automated system because of multiple payment attempts or use of VPN. Fair enough. But now I still have the 380$ marked as "reserved" on my credit card statement, despite the order being cancelled. Customer support is ignoring my inquiries, tried to cancel the order via Amazon Pay which I used for the transaction. Got an email from Amazon saying they could not reach the vendor under the email listed on Amazon. Extremely sketchy and customer unfriendly, if you need anything from customer support you're straight out of luck. Wish I had seen the reviews for the store earlier. Avoid at all costs.
