GBNo communication. PayPal didn’t work, despite working fine with another seller on the same day, and me checking my PayPal account. I received relentless emails assuring me I hadn’t paid and explaining that I would be marked as a non payer if I didn’t. I attempted on several occasions to pay and also to make contact with them to rectify the situation. I only did this as a good will gesture as the record is easy to get hold of, which I will be doing by going back to eBay with whom I have never had an issue. No response from the seller and none from Discogs. Having refused to use them in the past because of a similar issue I decided to give them another chance, but I’m afraid they really are useless.

BEThey remove negative feedback Most sellers seems to be legitimate, but when things go wrong Discogs removes negative feedback left behind from buyers. Bought an expensive EP Mint condition. Sleeve was heavily damaged. I left a negative feedback which seems to have been removed later.

GBCIP is a problem. Despite being a good database for different music releases, it has a problem. As someone who created a contributers account I got stuck CIP (Contributer Improvement Programme) which prevents you from contributing to the database, and I can't get off of it, even after 5 years. Discogs does have a guide to fix this, but it's so complicated and doesn't even tell you how to vote on pending submissions.

GBWould be a great platform to buy vinyl… Would be a great platform to buy vinyl but when 80%(that's generous) of sellers don't respond to messages it's a bit pointless even looking on there.

GBDiscogs will not even reply to my… Discogs will not even reply to my review request. Bought an item and seller took 7 days to ship even though on the sellers page it says that they ship in 2 business days. Took 7 calendar days (5 or 6 business days, no holiday). Discogs never replied and never took down retaliatory review. Now a buyer took 9 calendar days to ship and simply wrote back "It happens sometimes" with ZERO apology of any kind! Was reluctant to leave negative feedback as it will likely cause me to get another retaliatory negative review when I did not do anything wrong. I purchase about $5,000 a year and sell about $10-12,000 a year on this platform and seriously thinking of bailing and moving it all to my eBay and Amazon selling pages!!! All of this after Discogs recently raised fees with no discernable improvement on their site at all!
