A Legacy of Excellence A few years ago I was in a position to invest in my legacy drumset. I went with Field Electronic Drums because of my deep experience with them as people, as musicians, as professionals, and as perfectionists. I asked for a custom drum kit of just the shells for hand-building my own set-up, and FED hooked me up. My five-piece maple-plywood shell with kelly green analin-dye and hand-rubbed satin varnish tricked out with their custom gold lugs makes my kit a one-of-a-kind. And the fact that they hand-sanded the rims so that not a single lumen of light shows through any gap whatsoever only further demonstrates their next-level commitment to excellence. All this just for an acoustic set (I’m not yet ready to take the next step into electronic just yet). It is easily the best sounding drumset I have ever played on. It sounds and feels so pure, the way a drumset should. In a world where so many products are getting cheaper to make through mass assembly, It’s great to know there are pioneering companies who still prize craftsmanship and quality. Their products are engineered and built to last, able to withstand anything you can throw at them. They’re not cheap for a reason because you’re buying them for the long haul. They last.

Fabulous Product I have been a professional for many years. My first electronic drum experience was in the late 1990s using a Roland TD-10 Pro Kit. My next experience was with our Church using a Roland Td-20 linked to a computer on a kit converted to electronic. The acoustic drum sounds were better but still had trigger troubles.. Finally we moved to a complete Field Electronic set and now I have the best of all worlds both sounds and trigger response... The technology of 3 zone ride, touch choke and a plethora of amazing sounds from the sound module are the complete package. On top of that the Custom shells produced are amazing. This is a great product and wouldn't see my self going to other electronics.
