GBHaving dealt with gear rental providers… Having dealt with gear rental providers local to Austin I have a prospective on the overall takeaway that the experience can in some cases be not only a hassle with some of the providers, but also an obstacle course of red tape to just utilize the service. It was so much easier and reasonable to have the team over at B.O.B.M. ship the gear I want to try out than go through a hassle of outrageous security deposits and proof of identification in triplicate just to rent a pedal to jam with. GBCustomer Centric to the Max I've been using Buy or Borrow Music since... a year ish? Anyway I have been able to use quite a few things and enjoyed all of it, sometimes I like the gear I try, and use it often, and other times I find I don't like or don't use it that often, so I just send it back! That's saved me so much money on gear. Currently I'm in the process of purchasing an MPC One through them and it's been the easiest, most customer centric, awesome experience I've had with a business. And since then I've had a gig come up, I wanted to have a new piece of gear by that gig and they're working their hardest to get it to me in time for the gig. What a team!
