USRed Flags Buyer Beware! I was looking to purchase a jacket from The Jacket Factory website, but after researching it, the company does not appear to be very legit. First, I tried finding reviews using several online review services, and they are hard to come by; some review services have no information at all, while others have very few, and those are mostly negative. Second, the reviews on The Jacket Factories personal webpage are suspiciously all 5 stars and appear to have been written by the same person with very little understanding of English sentence structure; moreover, they were all written about the same time within a one month time period over a year ago. They just have the appearance of faked reviews. Third, when I called the contact phone number given on their website, the person that answered spoke with a strong Indian/Pakistani type of accent, and the phone connection was as if they were on a personal cell phone with a bad connection; the call dropped before I could even finish asking my question. Fourth, The Jacket factory claims to be a British company, but the address they give on their website says they are located at Farragut St, Hollywood FL, USA 33024 with no street number given. When I used google to search for the street, it was in an area with nothing but residential housing, no businesses around, and with no street number, it's impossible to locate the exact house they are claiming as their business. I did read one review where a person said the company was actually located in Pakistan, and that persons review said that the company was fraudulent. Fifth and last, they only accept PayPal as payment; no Visa, no Master Card, no other major credit cards, just PayPal only. There are just so many red flags here; Buyer Beware!!
