Woven Stories is a great teaching resource I am retired teacher and have traveled several times to these Embera villages in Panama. I cannot emphasize enough how important a program like this is in our times. Stories Woven is an amazing gift to families, educators, and their students. This is an opportunity to show students some of the human diversity that is abundant on our planet as told by the Embera people themselves. That is one of the elements that makes this program unique. Hearing and seeing their surroundings, clothing, food, crafts and explanations from the Embera is the best and most personal way to learn about a culture if you can't visit it. Educationally, the opportunity to create relationships (pen pals) with Embera children will further open their eyes to our human diversity and grow with them into their adulthood. For anyone who wants to see how other parts of the world live or expand their children's appreciation of humanity and make a difference, Woven Stories is all that. Great for home or school. It provides authentic opportunities to learn plus it will really help the Embera.

A fun adventure! Great way to support a new neighbor across the globe. The interaction allowed my family to be engaged and learn about a similar aged child and how they live. An adventure from my laptop. It isn’t often that you can see the impact and results of a donation like this. I would recommend using a desktop/laptop compared to a screen for the best optimized experience.
