I feel better feeding my dogs The Farmers Dog. I feel better giving my dogs, a higher quality of food. Both have been on it since I adopted them from puppies. I’ve seen a lot of information about pellets being rancid and sprayed on color and flavor. My dogs mean a lot to me and their health is my priority. I know this is an expensive subscription service and I know everyone cannot afford it. You can also try to make this yourself if you have time, but I definitely think, in the long run, this will be less expensive based on having healthier dogs with less veterinary visits. My dogs love it and they look happy, fit and healthy. Customer Service has always been very responsive so I’m confused on any negative customer service reviews because this has not been my experience.

I ordered 1st week of farmers dog I ordered 1st week of farmers dog, introduced the good according to the chart sent, my dog is 14 years old and has a delicate stomach which I specified. I started her on the food 4 days ago. I am at 50/50. Today she has had diarrhea. She has tried in the past different foods and never had diarrhea before. I am watching her closely but if she continues with the same issue, will stop giving her the food. I ended up throwing all that food away..My dog continued having diarrhea with blood. Had to put her on a blend diet. I do not recommend this food.

Switched from ProPlan Switched from ProPlan. Feeding a 5 year old lab and 12.5 year old Great Dane / Hound rescue. Dane was getting picky, lab would eat most anything. After a few months Dane stopped eating Farmers Dog. Switched back to ProPlan. Lab could care less and noticed no difference in activity level but did notice periodic diarrhea. Running out Lab’s Farmers Dog and likely will return all to ProPlan.

i am writing with disappointment worst experince i am writing with disappointment and donot go by there reviews on there own website. there food esp turkey and garbanzo beans i mean who puts garbanzo beans in dog food. it causes gas to human let alone poor dogs. it costed me $4000 to get his tummy issues resolved from ultrasound to xrays. my dog was really sick and poor thing had to go through IV and what not.
