Selling my business Was contacted by KBS asking if i had considered selling my business and at just the right time> We had a couple of meetings and decided to give it a go and we was successful in selling. We was given a direct contact who helped us through the process from start to finish and as we had no experience in doing this before this really helped. The process was hard at times two sets of legal teams going at it and we felt like giving up but KBS helped sorting out any bumps we got it over the line.

So far, so good - Kirsty brilliant job We have just finalised the Information Brochure / memorandum for the sale of our Company. Professional and proactive I engaged KBS after a previous deal fell through. Initially things seemed quiet after all the set up work but interest picked up and I was getting several enquiries. I found the team at KBS quite proactive in weeding out the genuine from the simply curious and they found me a serious buyer who made a good offer. Not a simple process but worthwhile in the end and they guided me through each step.

Very little work for an extortionate upfront fee I have dealt with KBS a few times and unfortunately from conversations i have had with sellers they really don't seem todo too much once they have taken the initial fee and created a generic IM. As a broker they should be providing guidance as to what we buyers are looking for and helping the business position itself better, but alas they dont do any of that. To top it all off i had a random email from one of the consultants asking me to download a file and enter my sharepoint details! Rang the relevant person who answered his DDI with "Yeah" and after explaining what i received from him i got the most unapologetic reply!! Please please avoid and find brokers that actually do work on your behalf
