MDF Beadboard Passed the Water Test The beadboard sample kit was so helpful. I love that the beadboard is reversable and provides two different width options for the bead. I tested the MDF by soaking one end of it in water for 8 hours, and there was less than 1/16th of an inch difference between the non-soaked end upon removal. I'd imagine if there was a coat of paint on the MDF that there would be no change from the water. I highly recommend this product, and it passed the test to be installed as our kitchen backsplash.

The lead time was short and delivery prompt. Above all, I found the product to be of excellent quality. I will continue doing business with them whenever the chance arises.

Great Product (so far) Great experience so far. Can't speak to the long term effectiveness of the material. Installed in master bathroom - time will tell if the material lives up to the "moisture-resistance" designation. Sales staff took the time to get me the right sized boards and quantity to ensure efficient installation with minimal waste. Material arrived on-time and in great condition - no issues with packaging, pallet, etc. Excellent material - dimensional stability, tongue/groove machining, nickel gap - a carpenter's dream. If you get the first piece level, the rest of the wall requires little to no effort to maintain level all the way up the wall. That's what is great about MDF - it doesn't have the material flaws that are inherent to real wood. Haven't painted it yet but I feel it is going to allow for an flawless painted finish.
