My dog has a habit of scratching flooring, but this flooring has withstood her wrath. This was meant as a quick fix to be temporary, but I am leaving it permanently for as long as it lasts. Don't hesitate! These are a great shortcut to real tile!! I bought some of these wall peel and stick backslash tiles years ago for my kitchen. When I got ready to refinish the walls in the laundry room, I had to find more because the first set is still beautiful, shiny, and perfect and has required zero maintenance at all for 5+ years.
