No Wayside for Me !! Personally I would stay clear of Wayside. I ordered two 3packs of Asclepias 'Cinderella' - Pack of 3 Plants per website ordering. I received TWO PLANTS !! I called and customer service said it was an advertising misprint !! They never offered to allow me to send the two plants back for a full refund. Don't deal with a business that does not own up to their mistakes. I am sure there are many on-line nurseries who CARE about customer satisfaction !!

Purchased 6 bare rooted geraniums this… Purchased 6 bare rooted geraniums this year and have seen results from only one after several weeks. Whether they will eventually produce is questionable since several of the plants were severely dried out. The hydrangeas I bought last year produced very little. The clematis died in spite of significant care in new soil in a large container. I have been gardening for many years and had successfully bought plants from Wayside many years ago with much better success. I will avoid buying any bare-rooted plants in the future and will probably buy locally in the future.

Ordered plants in Fall and plants dead for Spring I placed an order this past Fall and the first shipment one of the plants arrived half alive and half dead. They were very kind in replacing that one. Now that we have been through the Winter, all 3 plants are dead!!! I ordered Rhododendron / Azalea, entered my zip code and said it was compatible with my climate! Apparently, their compatibility chart is NOT very good as all 3 plants died!! Called and spoke with Rachel and she just told me, "Sorry, there is nothing we can do about it!" Will no longer be doing business with Wayside Gardens, they don't stand behind their product!

I purchased four different rose bushes… I purchased four different rose bushes which all came quickly. They were all bare root and received in excellent condition. Following instructions, I soaked each plant in water for 24 hours and proceeded to plant them in individual large containers. They grew quickly and are producing many flowers.

A few (2) instances where 2 out 3… A few (2) instances where 2 out 3 plants of same type arrived near/were dead, an instance where plants never appeared/ broke the surface ( phlox ) and (canna), and an order which was available when ordered, was out of stock when time to ship. 3 stars overall was generous assessment.
