The Planet (and your wallet) will thank you Really nice family-owned online store for lots of neat plastic-free stuff. Most things are compostable, but still last a long time. I've also saved lots of money (and cupboard space) switching to bar shampoo and conditioner and laundry detergent and hand soap concentrate. Instead of these huge plastic bottles, you just have little paper boxes and bars. We mix our detergent into a gallon glass pickle jar and we only need to buy like 2 bars a year. The owners also were great when I forgot to add some things to an order and did two orders one after another. I went over the free shipping limit with them together, so they combined my orders and discounted the shipping fee without me even asking! Everything arrived promptly and in simple, plastic-free packaging.
