Dishonesty is Never okay At 91 years old, they took my $920 back in March and promised to complete my book. My book was already completed when i gave it to them. All they had to do was format it. Instead, they ruined and messed up my book and have never given me anything in return. Months later they said they needed more money.... Everything they promised, not only did they never give me anything for my money but begged me for more money.I told them I needed a refund and they refuse to. They will not return my calls. Found out they were a scam. They do this to people I found out. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. STOP YOUR BANK PAYMENT AND TURN THEM IN AS FRAUD PLEASE. I DEALT WITH NAMES THERE LIKE MICHAEL HART, BARRY, RYANN AND HAZEL THEY ARE ALL FAKE NAMES. EVERY DAY THEY KEPT PROMISING THEY WOULD HAVE IT DONE THAT DAY AND IT NEVER HAPPENED. THEY HAVE NEVER KEPT ANY SERVICES PROMISED TO ME AND THEREFORE DISHONESTY. I NEED MY MONEY BACK. I HAD TO CANCEL MONTHS OF SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS BECAUSE WHAT THEY PROMISED THEY DID NOT DO. THEY CONTINUE TO DODGE MY PHONE CALLS. I TOLD THEM TO PLEASE REFUND OR I WOULD GIVE THEM A BAD REVIEW. I AM TURNING THEM IN TO ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES. I ALSO SUBMITTED THEM TO THE BBB. Not performing as agreed A week ago, Book Proficients became my publisher of choice. They spent the day contacting me multiple times about getting the payment to them. I sent them the manuscript and was told their editors would get started right away. It has been a week, and I have been told no later than Friday, which was yesterday, and still nothing. I don’t wish them ill, but I would appreciate their communicating better, and doing what they said they would do.
