GBMusicbed is by far the best music licensing platform we've come across Our team has been been using Musicbed solely for years, and as fine-art wedding cinematographers, we can't stress the difference it's made to our films. Musicbed offers an incredible collection of music and scores, by supporting and working with talented music artists around the world. On their website, you're presented with a user friendly interface for exploring the audio library, making it quick and easy to find the perfect track. Musicbed is by far the best music licensing platform we've come across for filmmakers.

GBAre you a small Youtube creator? RUN!!! If you are a small YouTube creator who finances their channel through Patreon, the occasional sponsored video or affiliate links... *RUN!* After 20 hours of editing a video with a sponsored segment that was due on a certain day and uploading it to the YouTube studio, the video gets flagged with two copyright claims for MusicBed songs. When I go to clear them (which I shouldn't have to do to begin with), I am told that "The claim is not showing up on our end" (weird...) but also that "Because this channel's description has multiple links out to products/courses for purchase, an upgrade to a Business-level Subscription is needed to keep this video up and continue posting." As a reminder, the "individual plan" is advertised as "Perfect for freelance filmmakers, wedding filmmakers, YouTube creators, and podcasters." and covers "SOCIAL FOLLOWING Up to 250K subscribers, DISTRIBUTION : Web/Social, Podcast and Includes Monetization" But the best part comes when MusicBed describes what "links out to products/courses for purchase" are problematic. The two links that MusicBed wants me to remove are links to the channel's website and the channel Patreon's page. And what does MusicBed think I should be paying to have those links up in the description of my videos? 100$/month, ie 3x the cost of the individual plan supposed to be "Perfect for freelance filmmakers, wedding filmmakers, YouTube creators, and podcasters". MusicBed, you should really be clearer about who can buy your products and which one. Because if you are going to sell a service to a Youtube creator, you better believe that a lot of them will have a Patreon account and a website and probably even have the audacity to place those links in the description of their video... Now, as a result of MusicBed's shenanigans, my video containing a sponsored segment is late to publish, which is resulting in a penalty on the fee I receive. What a way to support creators MusicBed!!!

GBThey are the best My experience with Musicbed has been nothing short of amazing. They have an incredible library of music that I can't find anywhere else. On top of that, they truly care about filmmakers and creators. They put us first and it truly shows.

CAI love the music on Musicbed I love the music on Musicbed's platform. Everything sounds professional and not like stock music. I also appreciate that I simply include an ID in my video's description and it automatically handles the license clearance with Youtube. Such an awesome licensing company!

CAMusicbed is my secret weapon. Musicbed is our first and only choice for music licensing. Our company has been a client of Musicbed.com for over 12 years and we consider them to be an extended part of our production team. The roster of musicians they represent is highly and expertly curated. You simply can’t find lousy music on this site. The care and attention to detail they demonstrate for not only their filmmaker clients, but also their artists is clear. Many of their employees have been with them long-term which speaks volumes about their leadership. They work extremely hard to provide a service to both the film and music communities where everyone is happy. While no company is perfect, I have seen Musicbed time and time again carefully and considerately respond to any bump in the road that may come up. This ultimately means we’re able to serve our clients with excellence. I left this review to share a professional’s opinion which I hope you will weigh in contrast to some other reviews which I’ve read and found to be generally the result of signing up for something without reading what you’re signing up for. I disagree with the sentiment shared by a few users of TrustPilot here who have claimed Musicbed to be an awful company. It’s simply not true. Thank you for the work you do, Musicbed.
