Disappointing Experience with Tortoise Hosting: An In-Depth Review I had an urgent need for a 2GB RAM Bedrock server and reached out to Tortoise Hosting's support team. Their response time, which was around 30 minutes, was reasonable. I decided to proceed and ordered a free trial for one day in Germany. However, my experience took a disappointing turn as the server never got past the installation stage; it remained stuck indefinitely. When I informed their support team about this issue, they attributed it to a bug. What was concerning was that they seemed unaware that they were using a Debian Docker image for hosting the server, which was no longer supported or updated. This lack of awareness regarding the server environment was problematic. To make matters worse, the server installation was eventually completed after multiple forceful attempts by the hosting company's owners. They also changed the server's egg from vanilla to Pocket Mine to Bedrock and back, which felt like an unnecessary hassle. Additionally, I noticed that the server was consuming a substantial amount of hard disk space, around 60%, even before the installation was completed. This was unusual, as a Vanilla server typically consumes significantly less hard disk space, usually around 300MB. In conclusion, my experience with Tortoise Hosting left much to be desired. It appeared that they may not be as knowledgeable or professional as one would expect from a hosting service. While they use the Pterodactyl panel, which is commonly used for server management, it was clear that there were significant issues with their server environment and handling of customer support. It is important for hosting providers to be well-informed about their server setups and to provide reliable, error-free service, which, in this case, was lacking. All of the sudden my server got deleted lol, i would say that this just another bunch of people thinking they made a hosting using pterodactyl with 0 knowledge or skills. :D

I like the web site I like the web site, and the server run really good, but when purchasing it thought we were money laundering. 4.5/5
