GBBest company in Dalton, Georgia. I recently have been working with Georgia Carpet Industries. Their staff and manager are very friendly and know everything about carpeting that you need to know. Their delivery is fast and on time. Their people were very easy to work with and their prices were excellent.

GBI will never do business with Georgia Carpet I will never do business with Georgia Carpet Industries again. I really hoped they would make the situation right but so far nothing. I placed an order of approx 550 square feet of Coretec flooring on May 10th, 16 boxes. Seth was helpful and prompt replying to my emails before I ordered. I received the flooring on June 29th. When the carrier opened the back of the box truck there was visible damage to the boxes. I called Seth asking what I should do. I told him I wanted to refuse the whole thing. He told me to not refuse it and to note on the paperwork the damage before signing and to take photos and he would forward it to Jade, in the claims department. Once the pallet was off truck it was apparent there was way more damage. Broken ends and visible to at least 4 boxes. When my husband got home and unwrapped the plastic we realized it was more extensive than what was visible on the outside. I immediately called Seth back and left a message. He called back and he told me not to worry and if I found more damage I had 72 hours to let them know. This is where it all goes wrong. I did everything I was told and in total 8 boxes had broken ends and was noted in an email to Seth within 1 hour of delivery. This company will only replace 4 boxes (what was written on paperwork at time of delivery) and they made a claim with the shipper for concealed damage for the other 4 boxes. Once I began emailing Jade it was apparent they weren’t going to make it right. It should be noted that they expected me to unwrap all the plastic and move each 62 pound box myself before accepting these in the rain! Yes RAIN! My husband was on his way and it would have ruined all the boxes. I was told it could take 4 plus months for the claim to be approved or denied with the freight shipper and I may never receive those boxes if they deny claim, which is exactly what will happen. This should be on Seth and the company, as I was given wrong information. I was told to accept goods and promised I would get new boxes with no issues. Jade referred me to their long policy on freight shipping, that was somewhere on their website. I read their policy that was under the invoice in my email prior to delivery and it never mentioned concealed damage needing to be investigated with the shipper. She also told me no one would have ever told me to accept damage goods and she would talk to the sales rep and his manager but still nothing has been said about it. All I know is I paid a lot of money for broken flooring and it’s not my fault and this company won’t make it right!
