Easy purchase! I found this site while pricing 1/2 inch cork. They had the best price and more quantity options than the other sites. I ordered 35 sheets on a Tuesday evening and they were on my door step Saturday! My only complaint is thst I didn’t revive any confirmation email when I made my purchase, but when I called they sent it right out. The woman who answered was helpful and pleasant.

I purchased 1800 sq ft of 1/2 in cork… I purchased 1800 sq ft of 1/2 in cork to use as an underlayment for a engineered hardwood floor in an earth contact home. The Cork arrived in excellent condition, with out any damaged. The quality of the cork is very good. I am very satisfied with Cork Direct product and service and would recommend them.

Good product, good vendor. We use 1/4" cork 2'x3' sheets as underlayment when we lay click-together flooring over concrete. We also use Visqueen vapor barrier over the concrete, under the cork. What is great about these sheets is that they lie flat (unlike rolled cork), & they are sized for easy handling. We tape them together so they don't shift on the floor. We have used this technique on several floors It lasts, it provides some cushioning of the floor, it deadens the sound of traffic on the floor. It also turns 3/8"-thick flooring into 5/8"-thick flooring, making the use of moldings and transition pieces easier.
