Electrical wiring for plow and handheld… Electrical wiring for plow and handheld controller becomes extremely stiff in cold weather. When hooking up plow I can hear insulation creaking and possibly cracking, also VERY stiff. Hand held coiled wiring is so stiff that it will not stay in chubby hold. Also the velcro strap on this device I can not get my hand with gloves on, into strap.

The electric connection plugs are… The electric connection plugs are terrible. It doesn’t close completely leaving a pronounced gap for the elements to corrode connectors. Also, it would be helpful if there was an automatic blade return to 180 degrees from any position. Something similar to your float button. Your quality control was also disappointing as I had to return to the vendor three times for what finally turned out to be a defective hydraulic hose. This cost me three hours travel time alone plus time spent waiting at the shop.

The biggest problem.we have is the main power plug. The biggest problem.we have is the push together plugs. In a real.world of one driver they can maintain properly but still has issues with ice can build up and push apart. Possibly a latching mechanism or bigger rubber to help hold better. Plow is great quality and strength. We are a municipality and former director was a Meyers person. Not a great plow for Municipality use. Fisher also going cheap route. Boss has appeared to step up in strength and quality of the main frame and components. We are currently in process of 6 more trucks and they will be Boss.

We exclusively use the Boss V plow. We exclusively use the Boss V plow for all our snow removal in our school district. The plows work well, we have new people all the time we have to train on how to use the plows and we find it is easy for them to operate. If we have to repair a plow we have not had any problem with getting parts and making the repairs on our own.
