Absolutely spot on Having been told my dog was a springer spaniel x terrier I had my doubts as she was tall and slender. So I bit the bullet and tried a DNA test to see, I didn't upload any pictures so as not to influence the outcome. Got the results back and I can confidently say they're spot on! My dog turned out to be 4 breeds with the majority being a wirehaired pointing Griffin, then springer, then cocker and a smidgen of German wirehaired pointer. If you imagine a combination of both wirehaired pointers you see my dog. It's good to finally know exactly what breed she is so now when people ask, which they do a lot, I can finally tell them.

Complete Waste Of Money And Time I don’t think any of my results are correct. I know the parentage of the dog and I know to be correct as I’m a close friend of his breeder. Everything Wisdom Panel told me was incorrect. His parentage on both sides - absolutely incorrect. His colour - they said black and he's white/cream . His hair type- According to wisdom panel, he has a heavy shedding coat. He doesn't shed at all. He apparently has unusually short legs ... Nope! they are actually unusually long! He apparently has a long snout. Wrong again! His apparent weight was drastically incorrect, and he is much bigger than the supposed breed composition. It just doesn’t seem like we’re talking about the same dog. I contacted wisdom panel customer services and received no response. Very very poor customer service. Thankfully I brought the test from Pets At Home and they have been wonderful. They immediately refunded my £80. They didnt quibble at all. I would say take the results with a pinch of salt if you can afford to lose the £80. If not get a refund from where you brought it from, and i hope thats not wisdom panel themselves.

Our cats’ DNA tests. Always wanted to get my cats’ DNA tested, I researched a lot of companies on line and Wisdom Panel was buy far the best of them. The swab test was pretty easy to do, So interesting discovering what other breeds were identified in my cats, we were astounded to say the least!! We’ve just swabbed our other 2 cats, can’t wait for their results!!

Used wisdom DNA test twice for rescued… Used wisdom DNA test twice for rescued dogs with no/little history of breed. The results seem pretty reliable in both cases. I really like the "family tree" feature which links your pup's DNA profile to other clients, allowing you to potentially find family members of your dog even if it's adopted 👍

Wrong results My small dog who bares a huge resemblance to either cavachon or maltipoo has come back as top 5 breeds Dalmatian, Pekingese, German shepherd, poodle (toy or miniature) and central Asian ovcharka (a large and powerful breed, in their own words). Only one I would believe is the poodle bit. I have sent them an email but on most of the bad reviews here I don’t suppose I will get any joy. I have also contacted them via fb messenger and put her photo as a comment on some of their posts
