I was quoted $600 for removing 4… I was quoted $600 for removing 4 ceiling fans, one chandelier, and replacing the four ceiling fans with new ones. The day of the appointment I received another email saying the fee would be $749. I called and they adjusted back to $600, but then I was stood up by the contractor—I waited all morning. No phone call; not even a text. When I notified hire a helper, they told me the worker had car trouble and that he could reschedule for a week later and the fee was increased again! To $450 for ONE ceiling fan! I know what happened—there was no car trouble. The contractor stood me up because he wanted more money for the already negotiated job. This company sucks. Dishonest and unreliable.

I am so thankful for hire a helper because all I had to do is help pack boxes. They did all the heavy lifting from load up to un load. Well worth the money. It would have taken her and I 8 to10 hours to do what they did in under. 2. I will always check with them on any future moves.
