GBIt’s like texting a child I checked out Craigslist to discover options for movers when I came across Shields Movers who advertise last minute call and 24/7 holidays. I was impressed with their assertion to safety, insurance, reliability, and professionalism. I had quickly found exactly what I was looking for so I gave the company a text as recommended in their advertisement I didn’t hear back so I decided to submit a quote request on the company’s website out and was further impressed by how easy it was to navigate. Hours later I received a text back from the number in the ad: *Me: Hi - Shields: No *No? - We said no *Is this Shields Movers? - We are not interested.. stop texting us *(I sent a screen capture of their ad) - We are not interested stop texting us ok? *What? I'm trying to hire your company. - We are all booked up until next year we're not interested in your services *Your ad states last minute call and 24/7 holidays. - We are all booked up but cannot offer any Services we're booked up until next year *So you don't offer last minute call and 24/7 holidays? - No we don't it's no need to keep texting us we just said we cannot offer services we are booked up until next year it's no need we cannot offer you help stop texting us Their ad was nice, their website was nice, and their photos looked friendly however actions speak louder than words. Pretty disappointed with the actual interaction and communication.

GBWouldn't let me ask them a question. Insisted I fill out their web-form. I wanted to ask Shields movers if they had experience moving heavy objects like a woodworking machine weighing 500 pounds, which would require a lift-gate. First I tried chat on the website. The representative refused to answer questions via chat and told me to fill out their web form. So I phoned the company and got the same representative. He refused to answer questions and again told me to fill out their web form. He called me "rude" when I said that I wanted to ask THEM a question before spending time sending them all of the details. And then he hung up on me. I just wanted to ask if they had lift-gate capability, not just trucks with ramps. If this interaction was typical of how they treat customers, I would steer well clear.
