USDO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!! 1 STAR IS TOO MANY!! So, I'm not sure where to begin...we've had NUMEROUS issues with our move! I'm EXTREMELY dissatisfied and clearly frustrated by this entire situation. Originally, I had requested the 2-man crew as I was quoted for $95 / hour on Thumbtack, while RMS contacted me directly noting the rate had suddenly increased to $100 / hour - should have been an indication of things to come, but I continued with the process. After briefly discussing the item list (which I made clear was simply a rough estimate as I was not even home to survey the items), RMS suggested the 3-man crew, while I requested the largest truck possible in order to reduce costs and ensure the job would be completed within one day, but something was re-routed at the distribution center and we only received 2-men w/ some mid-size rental truck from U-Haul. As it turns out, we really needed that extra set of hands - it took them nearly twice as long and several trips to complete the job. Additionally, since the truck was unavailable as requested our crew had to rent a seemingly MUCH smaller U-Haul truck for Thursday's job, which forced us to make 2 separate trips to the Public Storage facility (no charge for extra travel due to the truck mishap). Unfortunately, this meant we missed the closing time for Public Storage...therefore, I was forced to stick around from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM awaiting their return to allow entry. Since it was so late, the crew simply began throwing stuff into the unit without any sense of organization, which required a complete re-arrangement upon arrival of the remaining items...on top of everything, we were still unable to grab all of our necessary items and I had to wait until TUESDAY morning in order to finish the move!! RMS had ASSURED me there would not be any additional cost to finish the move, but then I come to find out that an ENTIRE new move would need to be set-up...fresh with all of the wonderful fees associated with it (such as, $100 Travel Time Fee), while I was told we would figure it out after the claim had been submitted! Then, things became exponentially more frustrating as I was unable to receive any response from RMS Movers on Friday or Saturday regarding the remaining schedule!! Also, thanks to having to wait until TUESDAY to finish the job, it was pouring rain and having to re-arrange the disorganization of their first attempt caused many of my belongings to get ruined by the downpour! In total, I'd estimate this mishap has cost me nearly $775 without even factoring in damaged goods due to rain and lack of consideration during unloading...ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! RMS Movers did not take responsibility for ANY of these issues!! Claims were filed with RMS Movers, but closed for no apparent reason. Detailed timeline of events were provided - yet company chose to cherry-pick tidbits of the situation, while ignoring major issues along the way and has since ceased correspondence as I can no longer reach anybody within the organization. It's an absolute scam! BUYER BEWARE!!
