GBDo Not Trust Them! Beware, they do not tell you everything upfront. I interviewed many moving companies before selecting J&J Vanlines. Ultimately, I chose this company because of their sales person who reassured me repeatedly that things would go smoothly. Well, they did not. I prepared an extremely detailed packing list with photos of all the furniture. When the movers arrived, they increased my cubic feet by almost 2x. Huge increase. Resulting in $3,000 more fees. They also brought a semi, and told me that it was an additional $1,200 to change to a smaller truck. I also paid $1,200 for specific time delivery, only to get multiple phone calls from the actual movers, speaking broken English, giving me no assurance they would arrive on time. I won't use this company again and the experience left me even more wary of the moving business going forward. The owners were non apologetic. They told me their sales guy, Nick, who I spoke to, promised me many things that were not included and resulted in additional charges. Overall a very bad experience.
