GBMoving experience was great I had a great experience with Top Notch Movers Fort Lauderdale. The team was friendly, efficient, and careful with my belongings. They made my move a breeze and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable moving company.moving experience was great

GBThe ol’ bait and switch This company low ball bids you, shows up later than expected, leaves half your stuff and then pretty much leaves you in a position, at 930 at night I might at add, to have to pay double what they originally quoted. All because they wouldn’t do a video estimate and make sure they were being accurate. They said they gave options, but what options do you have 2 days before your move? Customer service went round and around. Trying to explain it away. Their estimate was basically only my furniture. Not even the boxes. I even took the mattress in my truck that they estimated. Save your time. Go elsewhere. This is a scam. I’ll be surprised if I even get my stuff.

GBReally understand who you are dealing with I went on line, read reviews, picked Trinity movers, except they weren’t movers. They hire movers, ones you know nothing about. Top notch ( anything but) left a bureau, an antique medicine cabinet, 2 rugs, and a lamp behind in my condo. No explanation why. They also offered a low ball bid, then jacked the price up after the truck was loaded, and they had a non-refundable deposit. Stuff was stored in NJ for 3weeks, during which 2 irreplaceable pictures of great value to me, were stolen. When my stuff was delivered, no attempt was made to match what was brought in matched what was packed previously. It turns out I was supposed to go through each box and make sure everything was there. It would have taken hours, it is a dishonest process. And in talking to others, more widespread than it should be. Don’t be intimidated by movers complaining that they are in a hurry. Read the tiny print contract they give you ( should take an hour or 2). Number and label every box, then check them when they arrive. Protect your self because if you lose something you get 60 cents a pound! This is an addendum to the original complaint. A company in FL also named Top Notch Mover called me and pointed out that they were not the company involved but their reputation is taking a hit. (The company I got was based in NJ) Certainly not my intention. So the best advice, given to me by this company is don't use a broker like Trinity because once they have made the sale they disappear, and go online to an online site that tells you what to look out for. Also request the paperwork you are supposed to read BEFORE they arrive, so you can read it. Number every box, even if packed by them, and no matter how long it takes, or how much they complain, match each box to the original lading slip, making sure the box wasn't tampered with. I might be naïve, but it is appalling to me that companies would be this dishonest. Top Notch Movers in FL appears to be a terrific company, but I'd still check them out before using them.
