DO NoT USE this company as I have made… DO NoT USE this company as I have made a huge mistake hiring this so called movers. This company doesn't even move the stuff, they are double brokering loads and passing on to God knows who and no one is answering their calls or emails when reaching out to them about my household goods. I'm getting ready to file a missing freight report and have DOT get involved due to the fact it has been over 21 days per their term that I still haven't received my stuff, nor they're giving me any answers as to where their so called driver is, who is not even SH movers driver or even responding back to me. No word as to when I might get my stuff, which has been picked up over a month ago and no one is answering their calls or emails. Again do your homework people, do not trust this company or do business with them, unfortunately I truly regret for not checking on them first.

Avoid this company Save yourself a ton of aggravation and find a reputable moving company. Worst experience of my life in dealing with any company. Cost was 3 times the estimate but to be fair, the load was based on cubic feet and we had more than the the original estimate but when the truck arrived, my calculated number based on truck size and how full it was came far short of what they charged. They would not give a delivery date which ended up to be 18 days. Called the wrong number to notify us when they arrived. They didn't return phone calls.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THEM. I'm trying to do you a favor by writing this review. I strongly believe all the 5-star reviews are fake. Just go to the Better Business Bureau website and look at their 1.64 out of 5 star reviews or go to Yelp. Contracted them for a 4+ bedroom cross country move from VA to OR. They will charge you double what they initially quote. We were quoted $5500 and charged $12,000. We filed 60 belongings that were cracked, scratched, broken, torn or damaged in some fashion. Currently working through their exceptionally tedious insurance policy protocol. Response time is abysmal and professional attitude is severely lacking. They subcontract random people to pack and unpack your belongings, so there is no quality control at all. They hire day workers to do the moving.

Stolen and damaged items; no communication I recommend to stay away from SH Movers, and here is why: 1. The company charged me extra $ upon arrival. Staff continued to add to the initial charge I negotiated over the phone with an intermediary == Value Added Moving - Nationwide Interstate Moving Specialists (from which I also recommend to stay away). 2. The company was not responsive to my complaint, which included damage and literally theft of my personal belongings in excess of $2,000. 3. The company representative left keys to my U-Haul unit under the door, which exposed my items to theft/damage. Thus, please use services of a professional company, not a company with loose standards and unprofessional staff. Good luck with your move!

Terrible terrible terrible service Terrible terrible terrible service! Do not use! Price doubled on pick up. Was told property would be delivered within 3-7 days (only 10 hours away from the pick up) and I'm now nearly 30 days later with nothing in site, no date when things will be delivered and repeated misdirection. My things are supposedly on a truck. I could have driven my things one by one and saved a lot of money. Don't be hoodwinked by this company
