GBDreadful service - prepare for a sustained headache I chose this conveyancer based on good reviews and a price point that seemed competitive but was certainly not the cheapest price I found (which I thought may be an indicator of quality). Shocking service, which involved virtually no communication and endless chasing on my part (on top of the usual dogged chasing of an estate agent!). Completely ignored requests for information from estate agent, leading to threats of sale withdrawal from vendor. Significant mistakes in documents that were found by myself - requested these be changed several times to be found no changes had been made. This lead to a data breach to be reported to the ICO. Was never introduced to anyone invovled in the process so enquiries were ignored and then was rudely informed on more than one occasion that staff members were not the people who dealt with my concern. Impossible to receive contact information. Generic email to try and contact someone from their website bounces. If you are not familiar with the selling or buying process, DO NOT use this firm, as you will have to manage the entire process and chase it all yourself. You will also need to understand the intracacies of what is happening to error-check the poor work being carried out. I do feel sympathy for staff members who may be overworked, but if this is the case then the entire business model is set up by someone entirely incompetent.
