Fraud Fraud I wanted to purchase a car on eBay not knowing they’re scammers and have sent funds from my Hallifax account. Have spoken to my bank about the fraud on my account but said they won’t be refunding the money. They said they have contacted the receiving bank and they have confirmed there’s no money in the account. So, they cannot recover any of the money on my behalf.
