GBIncomplete filing and continual asking for extra fees. For us they filed a Trademark application and charged $350 per "class" for 5 classes = $1750 which I paiod. Although they did in fact file, they had a wrong description which they promised to change - but never did. They also called and asked us to pay more to defend the trademark which I declined. Three months later they called asking for another $925 per class x 5 classes to change the description and also because our company is more than 20 years old! Clearly a scam.

GBScam Alert, Do not fall for it Scam Alert! They obviously know enough to take your money, but will set you up for failure. Not a licensed attorney based on filing. I asked for one class at first and was told that we needed to file for two classes or risk failing the application. Original application fields as shown by them were a 'Word' trademark and 2x Classes. I was told the fee would be $350 per class - $700 total (on top of original fee). An application was submitted, but it was 1) Not for the word phrase I requested, 2) for only ONE class [where did the $350 go?]. After reaching out for an explanation, never heard back. Just got hit with an email saying now I need to send an additional $1175 for a 'publication fee.' The USPTO fee table has nothing of the sort and does not indicate any additional requirement past the filing fees - that is until renewal. Oh, and did I mention that I regularly received paper mail saying things along the lines of 'Notice, $1,200 is due to receive x,y,z for your trademark.' I can't say for sure that they sold my data to additional scammers (as it was in uspto), but the boot fits.' To make matters worse, although my information is correct as the registered person, the contact info (email and phone) is for their service. Why didn't' I just use legal zoom?!
