I wasn't happy I mailed my entire project in with payment and orders. About the time I expected delivery, I received an email from the company stating they had tried to reach me several times regarding questions about my order. This was the first contact made via the contact info I requested they use. Books were of an average quality.

It gave them a purpose to writing, which alternatively motivated them to research, draft, edit, and do their best work! There are a lot of moving parts aside from the student writing- if one is organized it is a very great experience!

Pros include SchoolMate makes the purchase and home communication much simpler and less additional prep for the teacher. Con includes the color printing is not as vibrant and the pages seem thinner/cheaper.

Super Simple and Amazing Process! This process was super simple for me and my first grade students to do! My students completed the papers and I completed the cover online. It just gave our book a great cover! The books came in super fast! I believe I actually got the books before I got the shipping email. The books turned out great and we even added a qr code of the students reading their own pages. I was kind of nervous about this, but the codes scanned on the pages fantastic and everything works great!
