Great Science Magazines for Older Kids/Teens This has been the one gift I send to my kid every year. He loves learn and in particular, science. These are written in a way that appeals to kids too old for kiddie science books but not quite ready for scientific papers. There are tons of visuals that makes it fun and easy to read. It is our favorite piece of mail!

Wonderful science reading for kids I teach at a Montessori school, and our students love to read about science. We absolutely love Oyla We absolutely love Oyla. We’ve even purchased the past years. My kids are 10 and 12 and they both read it but my 12 year old reads them over and over. So much great content in each issue. Fans for life!

My children (ages 13 to 8) look forward… My children (ages 13 to 8) look forward to receiving OYLA magazine each month, and they read it multiple times cover to cover. The writing style is a great blend of entertainment and scientific information. Often times there is some overlap between what they have learned in the school and the magazine, which is wonderful because it allows them to dive deeper into areas with which they have some familiarity. Even I enjoy reading it!
