They do not show the material the book… They do not show the material the book mark is made from. It appeared to be metal or plastic. But it is some type of fabric.

I also asked the owners about making a Bullmastiff and Weimaraner bookmark, and even though they were in the middle of a move they had them on the website that evening. Great company Fast shipping, item as described. I bought the bookmark for my fiance who loves her two shelties.
