100% total scam!!!! Engaged 4/23 for a Dec launch of book, total scam!!! Took my initial monies then 5 mo upsold for illustrations which we paid for upfront, nothing ZERO was produced! Total scam and refund policy is a joke!! Buyer beware!!! To not use these crooks, the co even isn’t registered in CA! Scam alert!!! Any positive reviews are plants no question! I asked repeatedly to speak with ANY author that Barnes fulfilled and they refused!

The designers nailed the designs even… The designers nailed the designs even though I could only provide rough sketches and descriptions due to my busy schedule. They were easy to communicate with and were very professional.

Is the price right? If you want a company that starts off with one package price and then comes back to say "Oh this is the altered price" which is 1,500 more than the first. Then another employee says that guy has no clue what he's doing, your price is actually $20,000 instead of 4,000 but we are having a 50% off sale so its only $10,000. Good luck! If they don't even know their own pricing, they will surely be adding more on as you go!

Barnes Ghostwriters take your money and you get zero.… Barnes Ghostwriters take your money and when you read the terms they will only give you back 60% if you let them know within an hour. BBB Accredited businesses have been screened by BBB and are held to higher standards for customer service, transparency and ethical business practices. Then why are they on this website when it says Barnes is NOT an acceptable BBB recommended company? The contract Barnes sent said I could cancel at any time and receive full refund. I got nothing back and received no services whatever. Stay away from this company if you do not want to be taken.
