This company is a total fraud! This company is a total fraud! I had a contract with Amazon Publishing Studi , and paid $1350 . for it, to edit my book and provide me 150 copies ( 75 paperback, 75 hardcover). After editing my book, "To a Reluctant Muse", they tried to charge me an additional per page copyright fee, of $1400. I refused to pay and went directly to the US copyright office, who stated there is no per page charge, and copyright registered my book for $65. Amazon Publishing Studio then refused to send the agreed upon copies of the book to me unless I paid 50% of the additional "cost" of "over $2500" to print them. The author's cost on all 150 copies at KDP (Amazon) is $875.25 total. Lucas Dawson (VP Sales & Publication) stated in the contract that it included the 150 book copies and the shipping. He gave me a number for his boss, but it goes to an answering machine There is no reply from them.
