I purchased an unlimited yearly… I purchased an unlimited yearly subscription to Galatea. I even have a receipt indicating it should be valid until January from Galatea inkitt I have have been emailing nonstop since the 11th of May only to be told I do don’t have a valid subscription. The app hardly ever works have to uninstall and reinstall constantly to even to get it to work. You have to make an appointment at least two weeks or more to speak to a person otherwise you habe to wait multiple days for customer service to respond. The books have a lot of error in them mainly typo non stop. I start reading more reviews only wish I had done so sooner would have save me $60 and a lot of headache and frustration in this ap. I strongly advise anyone to avoid them like the plague. save your money and time and read more more quality o books.

Scam company that hides the fact it is really another company called Inkitt Do not bother, this website is a complete scam. Not only do they give pity awards to their authors when the company makes certain amounts of money, but they hide it from them too. The company also posted on Facebook that it is planning on scamming you by making you subscribe using a phone bill plan that you wouldn't be able to unsubscribe from! This is completely illegal, and they clearly don't care. On reviews from employees, it also states that they treat them poorly and have consistent layoffs. Not happy with this company, I'll be switching back to Wattpad immediately.

I have read some of the most amazing… I have read some of the most amazing books on Galatea. I’m an avid reader so I thought it was an ideal app for me. I generally get the yearly subscription since it’s the best option to read as much as I want. The BIGGEST ISSUE is the UNFINISHED BOOKS!!!!! But here’s the kicker, MOST OF THEM ARE COMPLETED NOVELS!!!!!! I’m waiting years for updates and they never come. It’s extremely frustrating to become absorbed in a story only to find it has no ending but a cliffhanger that will have you sucked in anticipating the next chapters. So you wait and wait and wait …still waiting!! It shouldn’t take 2-3 years to update a book the author has completed but is in limbo with Galatea and unavailable on any other outlets. For this reason, I’m looking at other apps for a better experience. Waiting years for updates on completed books is honestly a disservice to the paying consumer! Once my subscription expires I’m done!

Galatea app proven to be problematic The Galatea app has proven to be quite problematic and pitiful. I bought points to read, took my points but didn't unlock the chapter. Several books with chapter's timers have reset itself. Seems to be a constant problem. Posted reviews on the Google Play Store but these pleas for assistance falls on deaf ears.

Has Become My Favorite Reading App I've been using Galatea for the last few years and have seen nothing but improvements in the app. It's constantly getting better and now they have Galatea TV as well which has been a really cool plus to the books I'm already reading on the app. I read about a book a week so Galatea has been perfect for that, plus I ended up subscribing so I never have to wait for chapters.
