GBAppalingly badly moderated site full of… Appalingly badly moderated site full of annouying adverts. Moderators allow, indeed encourage through ineptitude, bullying of negative posters, leaving a site that is just an echo chamber for gungho rampers. Challenge anything and you are removed. Some of the posters on the site are clearly employees of LSE itself, as seem capable of removing posters at 10pm at night! Can imagine a tinpot site has paid for watchers at that time, can you? Disagree with one of these LsE staff members, even when they are wrong, and off you go. Shame the only alternative is Advfn. Come on somebody - set up a decent comptetitor

GBVery useful website Very useful website. It's being spoilt for many users by the number of adverts that are popping up, sometimes partially obscuring the messages that people are posting. I would like to know how to stop the adverts appearing.

GBLSE do nothing at all to prevent some… LSE do nothing at all to prevent some posters making incorrect claims about companies they are invested in. There is a real danger that would be investors are encouraged to invest by these false claims. These ‘rampers’ stand to make money out of others misfortune by falsely inflating the value of a share and increasing its share price only to sell out and leave the naive investor struggling. There needs to be much more protection and regulation around this to ensure that companies like LSE (London South East) seek out and remove the people responsible

GBAvoid at any cost Expensive platform, members are clueless folks passing misinformation to novices and insulting anyone who disagree...great examples are the matd chat with clowns like ojay and friends who will insult you actively if you disagree with their fantasy views of a 3 pence per share failed oil company about to go bust at any moment...they also comment that everyday they buy 50k and they never show up as major shareholders anywhere. Better options for trading out there and cheaper,a looooot cheaper than this rubbish.

GBA great free source of information on shares I have used the LSE Forum for nearly 8 years and yes, there are lots of rampers, certainly on the most volatile stocks, as there is on any shares’ forum. They are easy to spot, laugh at and ignore. The information that LSE provide on individual shares is as good as you’ll get in most other places and it’s free. On the odd occasion their Website does go down, but so do many other similar sites. Overall I am more than happy with LSE, hence the 5 Stars, and still use them more than any other site for information about shares. I also find it much more user friendly than ADVFN and it is one of the few places that you can still view recent trades, albeit 15 minutes delayed unless you pay the extra fee.
