Works well, reconciles easily, and the service is never down With our previous credit card processor, the batches rarely matched the output from our software, which made monthly reconciliations a nightmare. We literally had to go in at the individual transaction level to reconstruct batches. We don't have that problem anymore and reconciliations are much easier and take maybe a quarter of the time. Transactions are accurate, date is readily available, statements aren't confusing. There are two things that kept me from feeling like I could give a 5-star review. One is the automatic $50 fee if someone attempts a chargeback. The customer is not always right and this fee just seems unfair. Second is that I haven't been terribly impressed by customer service. Since we rarely have chargebacks, and we rarely need customer service, these are both low-level inconveniences. Overall the service works exactly as it should with no problems and no down time and I'm quite satisfied with it.

Recaptures and Chargeback Fees In the past, the cc refunds would be netted out with our sales. One entry per day. Now our bank statement is getting harder to reconcile because the refunds (recaptures) are posted separately and it delays our reconciliation process. Also, the automatic $25 chargeback fees need to disappear or get reduced. Sometimes it's for cancelled reservations that have already been refunded yet we still get charged the $25 fee, not fair.

Great customer service Yapstone is a wonderful payment processor with great customer service and the best rates. As with any processor, there will be issues, but Yapstone is quick to resolve them and always provides impeccable service. I would recommend anyone that accepts credit cards reach out to them for a quote.

I wish there was a way to give zero… I wish there was a way to give zero stars. YapStone is absolutely the worst to deal with. VRBO/HOMEAWAY evidently contracted with them, and receiving our payments is like pulling teeth. No way to contact them and VRBO passes the buck and will also not help at all. This is a mess and VRBO/HOMEAWAY takes no responsibility with creating this fiasco. If there was another listing company out there, I would cancel with VRBO today!

Abysmal Service at unreasonable cots Abysmal Service at unreasonable cots Not only did Yapstone raise their fees with NO WARNING or notice, one day to the next but they hoard the cash they collected charging significant fees if we wanted "instant payment" (being paid 10 days after THEY get the cash is INSTANT...). What a concept! They were totally unable to wind down the contract with their longstanding partner (HomeAway) at the expense of their customers (renters like me).
