GBAbsolutely Appalling Service Absolutely appalling service from this company. They had an error in processing my payment so instead of notifying me, they just took the rent twice from my account the next month, wiping out my bank account a few days before I was due to go on holiday. The customer service was initially ok, with the agents in the contact centre polite and helpful. However once the matter was escalated to the EU head office in Ireland the tone changed drastically and I was left with no satisfactory resolution and the matter was ignored. Avoid this company if you can.

GBI wish there was a way to give zero… I wish there was a way to give zero stars. YapStone is absolutely the worst to deal with. VRBO/HOMEAWAY evidently contracted with them, and receiving our payments is like pulling teeth. No way to contact them and VRBO passes the buck and will also not help at all. This is a mess and VRBO/HOMEAWAY takes no responsibility with creating this fiasco. If there was another listing company out there, I would cancel with VRBO today!

PTFailed to forward on 25% deposit funds… Failed to forward on 25% deposit funds for 3 villa rentals last October. Then early November took back all 3 deposits from villa owners!! Yet they had never sent the deposit!! Had I not investigated and asked for info they would still be holding these deposits. Despite best efforts March 2018 still waiting for anyone to talk to me directly or forward on essential paperwork. Waiting too for full explanation and most importantly a personal apology for their actions..

GBDid not know YapStone was the problem. I rented a vacation property through TurnKey Rentals and because of damage from Hurricane Sally they were unable to supply the property and offered a full refund with 5 to 7 business days. TurnKey said posted their refund almost immediately, several weeks passed, with emails back and forth without it showing up in my account. I had no idea the used YapStone as a payment processor. I filed a fraud complaint with my credit card company and had the refund within 3 days.

GBRecaptures and Chargeback Fees In the past, the cc refunds would be netted out with our sales. One entry per day. Now our bank statement is getting harder to reconcile because the refunds (recaptures) are posted separately and it delays our reconciliation process. Also, the automatic $25 chargeback fees need to disappear or get reduced. Sometimes it's for cancelled reservations that have already been refunded yet we still get charged the $25 fee, not fair.
