User base forum needs improvement Joomla as a product is awesome. I have been using it decades for mostly 90% of my projects. I've always achieved most of everything in terms of functionality with this CMS. I've seen the cms grow since the mambo days and amazing what it is now. The developers (at least the few I have worked with their products) are very friendly and open. The extension directory is not that bad but can be improved as a few plugin, modules and components are out of date. However, same cannot be said for the forum. Some forum users are disrespectful and sarcastic. I can fully understand now why a lot of people do not post their issues. There are very few professional developers and users that's passionate to help but quite a large part of this community is negative. However, generally, that does not stop me from using the product which I believe is very robust!!

A great open source CMS It's a great easy to use CMS with an amazing bunch of extensions from ecommerce to Event bookings. Easy to update and pretty fast to. Loads of templates available for you to use.
