Received a call from USPTO attorney Received a call from USPTO attorney. There was confusion regarding the description of my trademark. Paperwork poorly written. I called Core Trademark. They wanted $3000. This company is all about money. They needed information that was already available to them. Stay away from these people.

Scare Tactic Emails & Lies Received an email today from a man named Andy Roberts who is supposed to be the head of Core Trademark legal department. Letting me know as a courtesy that someone has a pending trademark application for my business but, it felt like a scare tactic to sign up and do business with them. I tried calling their number 1-877-209-2394 and of course no one answered, they want you to leave a message. Filled out the contact form, got a call no less than 5 mins after and the agent lied stating there was no way I could find out if there was a pending application. Checked USPTO and there is nothing pending like the agent or the head of Core Trademark legal said there was. Even if there was, you can have the same trademark name AS LONG AS you don’t have the same services! This business needs to be investigated for their crappy practices. Spoke with a USPTO representative directly and she stated there are scams going on like this at a very rapid rate. Don’t work with this company, search your company directly through USPTO for pending, active, and dead filings and know there are many scams like this one. File with USPTO directly!!!
