GBCan’t Trust the Reviews!! Payment Depot lauded to me about their reviews on Merchant Maverick and that was part of my decision to open an account. After signing up their service was not as advertised. I figured I would post a review to help future customers. It’s now been two weeks and my review has not been published on their site. I wouldn’t trust Payment Depot or Merchant Maverick.

TRThis site steals people's time with… This site steals people's time with fabricated information. The information it recommends for the high -volume business model and the service providers have nothing to do with the issue. With the advice, I applied to a provider that he said best, but with the answer, I saw that they did not meet the high -volume business model. For this reason, the recommendations of this site are only a waste of time.

GBOne-person LLC that is not interested in growth I am a very small single proprietorship that provides cutlery and tool sharpening services to a wide clientele in my area. I accept Venmo and cash for payment. Most of my "marketing" is word of mouth, plus some folks who find my website and contact me through a contact form or by calling my cell phone. Don't need marketing help, don't need improved search results. Very small outfit that pays virtually nothing for assistance. Don't even have a bookkeeper. I enjoy reading Merchant Maverick messages but most do not apply to my level of business expertise, and I am not interested in expanding.

GBFair assessment of CC fees for small businesses I own a small business and looked for many years for ways to lower my merchant services rates (credit card fees). Finally I discovered Merchant Maverick and I am saving 30%! Quite significant! The company that I chose (Dharma) is wonderful to work with and their tech support is excellent. I am very happy with MM!

GBTheir reviews are sponsored by competitors Looks like Merchant Maverick is not that "unbiased" as they state. There are many complaints about unreasonably low review ratings here on TrustPilot and other websites. It seems like they play with review ratings depending on how much they get paid by the reviewed software competitors. For example. There's a CS-Cart review published on Merchant Maverick. If you read the review, it is mostly a good review but the overall rating is very low. The rating of 2.5 disagrees with the content and the mood of the review. Seems like someone paid them to lower the rating. We've tried to contact Merchant Maverick multiple times to discuss the CS-Cart review, update it, correct some facts and inaccuracies. They never replied. I think that's because their reviews are sponsored by competitors.
