I received a phone call from a guy… I received a phone call from a guy called Mike Gomez saying he was interested in doing my novels into movies and wanted 5000 dollars I know it was a scam but someone is representing themselves from your company

Don't Bother all they want is money. had a guy call me named Fred Martinez who said an agent named eric gates recommended my book to them to make into a movie. no idea who eric gates is. the amount of time I have had these hybrid publishing companies/movie companies call and do the exact same thing is a lot now. I proceeded to ask who eric gates was and he quickly dismissed it and said how my book was chosen to make into a movie etc. I asked again who eric gates was and he dismissed it again and then politely told him I'm not interested and then said ok and hung up. I tried to call back twice to let him know how rude he was and he had blocked my number as it did not wrong at all. don't fall for this kind of company. And don't call my phone and proceed to talk to me about asking for money and then cut me off and hang up. take my phone number of your list
