GBDon't use them for price comparisons/where to buy Apple products. I was using them to try to find a good price on a MacBook Pro. Adorama was listed as the best price for various models, and I was considering buying through them. However, I fortunately thought to look up reviews of Adorama. They get TERRIBLE reviews on both trustpilot (1.9/5) and resellerratings (1/5), with nightmare story after nightmare story from customers. If Appleinsider is willing to list this disreputable merchant alongside reputable ones, and drive traffic to them by their price comparisons, then their where to buy guides really shouldn't be trusted. And, I'll avoid them in general in the future. Edit: I tried to add a link to one of the specific pages I'm referring to, but links aren't allowed in review. After I posted my original review, I got a contact from AppleInsider via TrustPilot: first asking me for "more details", even though my review was detailed and completely accurate. To respond to this directly, you have to give your contact details, and I did NOT want Appleinsider to have that info. I suspect that this was a first step in trying to get my review taken down - if you don't respond within 3 days, they can contact CS to "review" the review. Instead I complained to CS. Then: I got another contact from them claiming that my review was about some other website, when if you read my original review, the content makes quite clear that it's about AppleInsider. I think another step to try to get my review taken down. I complained to TrustPilot CS about this, but haven't heard back. Bottom line: an even stronger "stay away from AppleInsider!"
