GBWe have a deaf healer We have a deaf healer. She did very well when she was with our senior healer but unfortunately our senior healer passed away the week before we moved to Texas. After our move she refused to get back in the car and if she did she was completely out of control. We even purchased a soft crate for her to be able to see out all sides and she literally destroyed that soft crate. We could not take her for walks because she became so aggressive towards cars that were drive-by to the point where she pulled me over and I broke my hand. I searched and searched in vain to locate a vet or a trainer who could help us with her. With each vet and with each trainer we heard the same terrible news that there was nothing that you could do to train a deaf dog and mini recommended that we put her down. Until one night I was on Instagram and saw Aaron from Sit Means Sit post a small clip about his remarkable training. I reached out by message to him that night and was so surprised that he immediately responded. We spoke on the phone the next day and he asked us to describe many things about our Ziva and he did not give us false hope but he did tell me that he would come to our home because of Ziva‘s car fears and do an analysis and then if possible make recommendations. He arrived at Home and immediately upon his arrival he focused on Ziva to make her comfortable with him he explained a great deal about her behavior and the fact that she was deaf and the fear that she was experiencing. He showed us how we could work with Ziva to help her understand that she did not have to be constantly on guard and to protect us. After just one session with Aaron Ziva was so much more relaxed and responded so well that we I enrolled her in the Sit Means Sit dog training. Aaron came to our home for four weeks and not only has Ziva quit lunging at our front door but she enjoys going for a car ride with no crate and she and I are taking walks together of which we both very much enjoy. We have actually taken Ziva to errands training location to meet other dogs and other animals of which she shows no fear and no aggression. I was so afraid that we were going to lose Ziva but thanks to Aaron and Sit Means Sit Training she is an amazing companion.
