I received a text message that just said "hey akilah" which after asking who they were, I received a lengthy message from a Jennifer Lawrence asking for what amounts to a request for my business. They text me, instead of calling or emailing me prior to this which is a bit odd in my opinion. This is essentially what was said, "If you recall you did signup on our website for the Trademark registration for the Business name "Blah blah"."We have another applicant looking to get this trademark..." "Kindly reach out ASAP or provide us with the best number and time for the paralegal team to reach you." Which came off scammy considering they already had my number. I declined. They responded with, "Alright, then we are moving ahead with the other applicant. Trademark Bolt will not be responsible if your application gets rejected. Have a good day!"
